The global Catholic charitable confederation, Caritas Internationalis appeals for a ceasefire in the Holy Land in a statement entitled “Now is the time for peace.” The Catholic confederation calls for unimpeded humanitarian access to the population of 2.3 million in Gaza, while also appealing for a release of all Israeli hostages.
