Baptism Preparation for Children
Baptism – Giving the Soul the Character of Christ
Jesus answered; “Very truly I tell you: no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the spirit." – John 3:5
Baptismal Promises:
Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as Sons of God
We become members of Christ’s Body
We are incorporated into the church and are made sharers in her mission.
In Order to get Baptised into the Catholic Church, Parents need to:
- Ask themselves the following questions:

- Do you renounce the lure of evil, so that sin may have no mastery over you?
- Do you renounce Satan, the author and prince of sin?
- Do you believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth?
- Do you believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered death and was buried, rose again from the dead, and is seated at the right hand of the Father?
- Do you believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting?
